Northwest School of Medicine’s Literary Society hosted a vibrant Urdu Day under the theme “Hai Sukhan Aur Bhi Baqi” on April 14, 2026.
The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Bushra Farrukh, along with distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Malik Abdul Latif Awan (Chief Executive, AHL), Prof. Dr. Amir Khan (Principal, NWSM), and Prof. Dr. Maqbool Ilahi (Staff Advisor).
Students brought the beauty of Urdu literature to life through captivating performances such as Maseeha ka Qatil, Mere Samne Wali Khirki, Khat, Shugfta, Bismil, and Bair Bazi—each reflecting creativity, depth, and powerful expression.
The event concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to the honorable guest, marking a memorable celebration of language, art, and intellect.
