A Day with Surgeon” – Inaugural Session of the Surgery Interest Group!
Held on 9th May 2025 at Lecture Hall 1, the very first SIG session was a huge success with 130+ attendees!
We were honored to have Dr. Imran Mohib Khan (Consultant ENT & Head and Neck Surgeon, MRCS, FRCS OR HNS) as our chief guest, who delivered a super engaging talk on career counseling, the PLAB pathway, and shared valuable insights on the field of ENT — busting myths and answering students’ questions.
The event was kickstarted by Prof. Dr. Tariq Khan, who gave an inspiring inaugural talk highlighting Global Surgery, public health, and shared lessons from his own remarkable journey.
Dr. Almas Fasih Khattak, GSD’s Staff Advisor, presented a shield of appreciation to Dr. Imran Mohib.
We wrapped it all up with a cheerful group photo — capturing the energy, passion, and purpose of the day.
