Anti-Tobacco & Anti-Drug Awareness Activity at Northwest School of Medicine

An impactful awareness session was held at Northwest School of Medicine focusing on the dangers of drug use and the growing threat of the tobacco industry’s influence on youth.

Assistant Director Afaq Khan and Inspector Fukraz Masih from the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) delivered an eye-opening presentation on the hazards of narcotics, their devastating effects on society, and practical measures for prevention.

From Northwest School of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Waqar Ali, HoD Community Medicine and Vice Principal Research, shed light on how the tobacco industry targets the younger generation through the introduction of new and appealing products. His talk emphasized the need to stand as advocates against such harmful elements infiltrating our society.

The event concluded with a shield distribution ceremony jointly organized by ANF and NWSM, as a token of appreciation for the efforts toward awareness and advocacy.

Together, let’s raise our voices for a drug-free, tobacco-free future!
