The Meds Sports Carnival 2025 came to a thrilling conclusion on April 25th at the Basement 3 Hall of Northwest School of Medicine!

The esteemed Chief Guest, Malik Abdul Latif Awan, CEO of Alliance Healthcare Private Limited, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Naveed Alam, and Dr. Susan Kakakhel, awarded Trophies, Medals, and Certificates to the Sports Week winners and runner-up teams!

The Northwest School of Medicine’s sports tournament saw exciting wins across various disciplines. Final year students won football (best player Uzair, runner-up 4th year), girls’ chess, girls’ cricket (best player Marukh, runner-up 3rd year), girls’ basketball (best player Mahrukh Larib, runner-up 4th year), girls’ table tennis double, carrom (girls), and badminton (girls’ single and double). The 4th year team excelled in cricket (best player Aizaz, runner-up 3rd year), basketball (best player Muhammad Nooh Badshah, runner-up final year), and table tennis (boys’ single and double, girls’ single), while also being runner-up in carrom (boys). The 3rd year team won volleyball (best player Malik Atta, runner-up 2nd year). The 2nd year team won girls’ volleyball (best player Arooba, runner-up 4th year) and were runner-up in table tennis (boys’ and girls’ single). The 1st year student won boys’ badminton single (runner-up 4th year) and were runner-up in darts and carrom (girls). The final year team also won darts and carrom (boys).

Shields and Certificates were distributed among the Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Naveed Alam, Dr. Susan Kakakhel, Murtaza Kamal, Asavera Nisar, Dr. Munsif Ali, and Dr. Aftab.
