Role of Robotic Surgery in Oropharyngeal Cancers

On the 10th of April 2025 Mr Farhan Ahsan, a renowned ENT Head and Neck Surgeon and the Robotic Surgery Lead for Wolverhampton United Kingdom presented a lecture to the 4th year medical students on the Role of Robotic Surgery in Oropharyngeal Cancers. This talk was organised with the help of Imran Mohib Khan Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon and the Deparment of Medical Education in conjuction with the Global Surgery Directorate.

The presentation was well received and appreciated by the audience as it provided much need insight into this relatively new medical innovation. Mr Farhan Ahsan is now part of our International Visiting Faculty and we look forward to our association with him.

This lecture was an invaluable learning experience for our students, offering a unique opportunity to learn from a true expert and gain insights into the latest advancements in transoral robotic surgery!
