The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Northwest School of Medicine organized a one-day workshop titled “Strengthening Quality Assurance Practices and Continuous Quality Improvement in Higher Education Institutions” on Monday, 18 May 2026.
The workshop featured a distinguished guest speaker from the Quality Assurance Agency, Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Imran Ullah Khan Marwat, along with Mr. Syed Safyan Ali Shah, Manager QEC, Northwest School of Medicine, who shared valuable insights on modern quality assurance practices, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and accreditation standards.
Prof. Dr. Amir Khan, Principal of Northwest School of Medicine, and Vice Principal Academics, Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain, emphasized the significance of promoting a strong quality culture and continuous institutional improvement in higher education.
The workshop was attended by faculty members, heads of departments, program coordinators, and administrative staff. Certificates were awarded to all participants, while commemorative shields were presented to the guest speaker, Principal, Chairman, and CEO of Alliance Healthcare Limited (AHL) in recognition of their valuable contributions toward the promotion of academic excellence and institutional development.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) to enhancing institutional quality, strengthening teaching and learning practices, and supporting the professional development of faculty members at Northwest School of Medicine.
