NWSM Conducts Workshop on Clinical Audit

Northwest School of Medicine successfully conducted a workshop on “Clinical Audit: From Concept to Practice” on April 3, 2026, at Lecture Hall-1, NWSM.

The workshop facilitator was Prof. Dr. Waqar Ali (HoD Community Medicine / Vice Principal Research & Chief Editor, NJMS). The session provided in-depth insights into the fundamentals of clinical audit and its vital role in improving patient care.

Participants explored the differences between clinical audit, research, and service evaluation, while also learning to apply key audit stages and quality improvement methodologies like PDSA, Six Sigma, and Lean—along with practical tools such as Pareto charts, Fishbone diagrams, and the Five Whys.

An engaging and knowledge-driven session empowering future healthcare professionals to enhance clinical practices through continuous improvement.
